SEONOS (“SEONOS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates seonos.com and the SEONOS website audit service — a software-as-a-service tool that scans websites and reports on SEO, page speed, and technical health. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
By using SEONOS — including running a free soft scan, purchasing a deep page report, or subscribing to monitoring — you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
We collect only what we need to deliver audits and operate your account. This falls into a few categories:
When you run a scan we collect the web address (URL) you ask us to audit, along with the public content we retrieve from that page and the audit results we generate (speed samples, heading/meta/schema findings, keyword and ranking analysis, broken-link and rendering checks, and historical scores). For deep reports, an automated AI step may read a rendered snapshot of the page to verify on-page text and word counts.
Payments — the one-time $1 deep page report and monthly monitoring subscriptions — are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store your full card number or card security code. We receive and keep only payment metadata from the processor, such as a transaction ID, the last four digits of your card, card brand, billing status, and subscription state.
If you choose to connect an integration — Google Analytics 4, Matomo (via API), or the Nitro MGMT CRM — we receive data from that service to enrich your reports. This data is shared with us only when you connect the integration, and only to the extent you authorize.
We collect standard usage information such as which features you use, scan frequency, log and diagnostic data, IP address, browser and device type, and cookies or similar technologies on the marketing site (see our Cookie & Consent Policy).
We use the information we collect to:
SEONOS fetches public web pages the same way a search engine crawler would — by requesting pages that are publicly accessible. For deep reports, an AI step may read a rendered snapshot of a page to confirm the on-page text, headings, and word counts. We only scan URLs that you submit, and you are responsible for ensuring you are authorized to scan them (see our Acceptable Use Policy).
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:
By default we keep your audit data for 60 to 90 days, and you can configure the retention window per account within that range. We retain audit history so we can show you month-vs-month trends and score history. You may export or delete your data at any time from your account. Account and billing records may be retained longer where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and reliance on a dedicated third-party processor for card data. Sign-in uses Google OAuth, so SEONOS never handles your Google password. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
SEONOS is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
SEONOS is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of SEONOS after an update means you accept the revised policy.
